A day of deepening grace to catch a glimpse of God's work in the city of Chicago. To come as a learner was very draining, knowing that everywhere I went, I was an outsider visiting someone else's home, someone else's safe place. The other part of me felt strangely at peace, like the perpetual "already, but not yet," witnessing the birth pains of the Kingdom to come. This was the day for me. The video following provides for me an outlet of sorts, to be able to process what this day meant for me. I hope you see that this world, indeed, does belong to God and He is constantly involved in caring for His children and sharing His heart with them.
