Onward to Ottawa Lake

Then we went for a bike ride to Ottawa Lake.
The volunteer host told us that it would be 8 miles to get there. He lied.

This was a favorite during our ride. We found an abandoned stone lodge.

Another favorite.

Ottawa Lake. As it turns out, the lake felt more like a pond and ride felt like a little over four miles. Nevertheless, Wisconsin did not fail to show us a glimpse of her beauty.

Wheels on wheels

Last weekend, Jess and I took our bikes down to Kettle Moraine State Park, another hidden wonder of Wisconsin. Here's a bit of our jovial journey.

This little restaurant stood in our path to the park.

They fed us flautas de pollo and quesadilla burgers (literally a beef patty squished between two tortillas!).

We did eventually make it to our campsite.
